“It’s an extended metaphor,” explains A Love Like Pi mastermind and vocalist Lief Liebmann. “Pi goes on forever, it’s an irrational number, people study it to find patterns and there’s the obsessively mystical aspect to it in the math world. Love is the same way. It’s an irrational emotion, it’s certainly studied, and we’d like to think that it too, is eternal.”
